Wipro Ltd has informed that Administrative Committee of the Companys Board of Directors vide their resolution dated February 26, 2008 has resolved the following:

Alok Industries Allots Equity Shares

The committee of Alok Industries have issued and allotted 21,24,969 equity shares of the face value of Rs 10 each for cash at a premium of Rs 61.5875 per share to the allottee, pusuant to the conversion notices received from the company's paying, conversion and transfer agent for conversion of 61 FCCBs of US$ 50000 each aggregating to US$ 3.05 million . By virtue of conversion of 61 FCCBs, the number of FCCBs and amount outstanding stands at 475 and US$ 23.75 million respectively.
