Wipro - Allotment Of Equity Shares

Wipro Ltd has informed that Administrative Committee of the Companys Board of Directors vide their circular resolution effective March 23, 2007, has resolved the following:1. To issue and allot 1187082 equity shares of Rs 2/- each pursuant to exercise of the stock options by the eligible employees under the Wipro Employee Stock Options Plan i.e. WESOP 2000 Plan.2. To issue and allot 67188 equity shares of Rs 2/- each pursuant to exercise of the stock options by the eligible employees under the Wipro Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2004 i.e., RSU Plan 2004.3. Allotted 5000 equity shares of par value of Rs 2/- to JP Morgan Chase Bank, the Companys depository as underlying shares in respect of ADRs to be issued and allocated to the purchasers, pursuant to the exercise of the stock options granted to the employees under the Companys ADS Plan 2000.4. Allotted 6000 equity shares of par value of Rs 2/- to JP Morgan Chase Bank, the Companys depository as underlying shares in respect of ADRs to be issued and allocated to the purchasers, pursuant to the exercise of the stock options granted to the employees under the Companys ADS Restricted Stock Unit Plan- 2004.
