Canara Bank is coming out with an issue of tier II bonds for an amount of Rs 325 crore to augment capital resources. The tenor is 120 months. The issue will be opened on 14 January 2009 and end on 15 January 2009. The deemed date of allotment is 16 January 2009 and the date of maturity is 16 January 2019. The bank made this announcement during the trading hours today, 07 January 2009.
